City of Grand Forks – Autoscope Data Collection Project
Special Guest Speaker: Kshitij Sharma, Associate Research Fellow – Traffic Operations / Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute – North Dakota State University* Sharma will share with us his ongoing project with the city of Grand Forks, ND. This project has entailed the University teaming up with the city and local MPO to setup Autoscopes for data collection. His group has developed processes for data validation, retention and sharing with the other entities of the past several years. Sharma has worked with several generations of Autoscope products on this system including Terra, Encore and now Vision. Please join us in welcoming Sharma to share his experiences with our group.
